Missing Woman With Autism Found in San Jose

A 20-year-old woman with autism who went missing Wednesday has been found safe in San Jose.

Santa Clara police searched for Thao Vu, who became lost during a bus trip.

Prior to being found, Vu was last seen at a bus stop in front of Franklin Square at Monroe Street and Homestead Road by a caretaker. The caretaker was not sure if Vu boarded the bus with the group.

She was discovered missing when the group reached its final destination at Mission College, police said.
