Santa Cruz Woman Rescued from Tipped-Over Car

Crews responded to a report that a car was on its side with a person trapped inside it around 3:35 p.m. in front of the Ross Dress For Less at 650 River St., officials said.

Crews responded to a report that a car was on its side with a person trapped inside it around 3:35 p.m. in front of the Ross Dress For Less at 650 River St., officials said.

When firefighters arrived, they freed the woman from her car and transported her to Dominican Hospital, according to officials. 

The extent of the woman’s injuries are unknown. She was the only one hurt.

Police said the accident is still under investigation.
