Santa Rosa Man Sentenced to Life in Prison for Child Molestation

A Santa Rosa man was sentenced Tuesday to 25 years to life in prison for the sexual assault of an 8-year-old girl during a burglary of her Rohnert Park home last year.

Noah Luke Holland, 22, pleaded no contest on Dec. 26 to forcible child molestation committed during a residential burglary on Jan. 4, 2017, Sonoma County prosecutors said.

Holland found a garage door opener in an unlocked vehicle and used it to enter the girl's home. The girl screamed during the assault and Holland fled, leaving his clothing behind, according to the Sonoma County District Attorney's Office.

Holland was identified as the suspect when a wallet with his identification was found in the pants he left behind.
