Scattered Showers Pelt Bay Area

Make sure your windshield wipers are in good condition.

Scattered showers are expected in the Bay Area on Wednesday beginning in the morning and lasting throughout most of the day, according to the National Weather Service. Before sunrise, the rain was already coming down in parts of Sonoma County, and poised to cover other parts of the Bay Area later on.

Highs are expected to reach 60 degrees in most parts of the region. Skies should clear in the afternoon, meteorologists predict, and clear up for Thursday. A few spotty showers could linger into early afternoon as gradual clearing returns by evening.  Totals could range up to half an inche along the coast and North Bay. The weather may even produce a little snow near Yosemite.

Halloween night should also be rain free, with another chance of scattered rain on Sunday.
