Arnold Schwarzenegger will return to movies with a Western.

The former governor will be back. And he will make his return in New Mexico.

Arnold Schwarzenegger will be making his movie return in the Land of Enchantment.

The actor-turned-politician will star in a modern day Western movie that tells the story of convicts who break out of prison in Las Vegas and head to the Mexican border.

Schwarzenegger's role in the "Last Stand" will be his first major acting role since leaving office and since he appeared in "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines" and "The Expendables."

The former governor had said he would put his return to acting on hold while he dealt with divorce from his wife Maria Shriver.
