A bet is a bet.
And the 12th Man is coming to the Bay Area.
Losers of a longshoreman's bet, cargo workers at the Port of Oakland -- the main functional maritime port in the Bay Area -- will soon unfurl a flag honoring the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks, according to SF Weekly.
That noise you hear is an awful lot of sour grapes slinking to Santa Clara.
The boss of the local dockworkers' union says the flag will be raised to an 125-foot cargo crane at the port "as soon as" he receives one from his counterpart in Seattle.
