Seven-Year-Old Shot in Antioch

Police said they received word of the shooting at 4:17 p.m. when someone shot multiple rounds into the back yard of a home on William Reed Drive from an area by the G Street crossing.

Seven-Year-Old Shot in Antioch

A 7-year-old boy was hit by a stray bullet after someone shot into a backyard barbecue in Antioch on Saturday.

Police said they received word of the shooting at 4:17 p.m. when someone shot multiple rounds into the back yard of a home on William Reed Drive from an area by the G Street crossing.

The boy was taken to the hospital. No one else was injured.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call them at (925) 778-2441.
