There was an unusual sight hovering over San Francisco's Tenderloin on Thursday.
The St. Anthony's Foundation launched a statue of its namesake, St. Anthony. A crane hoisted the ceramic saint onto a perch overlooking the construction site of the organization's new dining room.
The group is raising money to finish the project, and St. Anthony is the patron saint of lost things.
“St. Anthony, who's known for finding lost things, we're hoping he's going to help us find the last $2.5 million we need to finish this project,” Barry Stenger with the foundation said.

The foundation feeds hundreds of needy people each day. The new dining room is scheduled to open in October of 2014.
