Looking for a job? Skype is hiring.

And the VoIP company is hiring some 400 jobs and they need to hire them by the end of the summer.

The Microsoft-owned company confirmed reports Friday that it is looking to massively expand its global workforce within the next few months.

"We are realizing our dream of enabling the world's conversations as more and more individuals and businesses rely on Skype every day," Skype spokesman Andy Crisp wrote in a statement. "To keep pace with this growth, we need to increase the size of our team around the world."

Skype has a Bay Area hub in Palo Alto, where the company has 25 job openings.

Positions range from software engineers to product marketing managers to system administrators and more.

"Between now and the end of the summer, we're looking for software engineers and developers who eat, sleep and drink great technology," Dan Hynes, Skype's head of staffing, said in a statement.
