An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 2.0 struck this afternoon in Sonoma County near The Geysers, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The earthquake struck at 12:29 p.m. and had a preliminary depth of about 1.7 miles, according to the USGS.
The epicenter was about 2 miles northwest of The Geysers and 27 miles northwest of Santa Rosa.
