Paul Vasquez had to have his dad come and pay his bar tab in downtown San Jose Monday after police were called.

An actor known for his parts in "Sons of Anarchy" and "NYPD Blue" found himself in trouble with San Jose police this week after allegedly skipping out on a bar tab.

Police say Paul Vasquez, 42, tried to leave the Dive Bar in downtown San Jose without paying his $56 bill Monday night.

The actor, who grew up in San Jose and played minor roles in two "Sons of Anarchy" episodes, was handcuffed by police and forced to wait until his father showed up to pay the bill.

San Jose Police Sgt. Heather Randol told the Mercury News the bar owner called police.

A photo posted on TMZ.com shows Vasquez sitting on the curb of Santa Clara street in handcuffs.

Randol said his dad paid the bill and then drove his intoxicated son home.
