San Jose Man Accused of Possessing More Than 10,000 Child Porn Images

    Authorities with the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department, the San Jose Police Department and the FBI arrested a San Jose man in connection with distributing and possessing child pornography.

    The Santa Clara County Sheriif's Office Sexual Assault Felony Task Force (SAFE) downloaded approximately 10,000 pornographic images and videos depicting young children from 61-year-old Dennis Valle Cruz.

    On Oct. 2, detectives from the sheriff's office, with the help of the FBI and the San Jose Police Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force served a search warrant at Cruz's residence on Oakwood Avenue in San Jose. Detectives found over 1,000 more images and videos of graphic infant/toddler child pornography on a computer and media drived belonging to Cruz. He was arersted on charges of posession and distribtion of child pornography.

    He was booked into the Santa Clara County main jail.
