The City of Mountain View will unveil a new sports complex Saturday.
The Shoreline Athletic Fields is 5.3 acres of baseball, softball and soccer fields on Garcia Avenue. Concession stands, restrooms and a children's play area have also been built.
Synthetic turf lays on the field to increase playable hours and to prevent irrigation over the landfill, according to the city of Mountain View.
The grand opening ceremony is Saturday, Nov. 14, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 2450 Garcia Avenue.
