It's the second week of spring, but we are facing a reminder that we can't always have the fabulous weather we had during this week.
It will be nice and warm today with plenty of 70s -- then some cooling/clouds for Wednesday and a chance for some rain mainly north of San Francisco by late Wednesday afternoon. While this incoming system is relatively weak, it marks a departure from the dry days we've been enjoying and will hopefully knock down some of the pollen blowing around.
Also, 'tis the season of crazy Sierra temperature swings. This system and one to follow early next week still still be cold enough for snow near 5,000 to 6,000 feet. Just in time for some springtime skiing!
Looks like things dry out later Thursday morning through Sunday morning with more rain - mainly north of San Francisco again by Sunday evening.
It looks like a moderate storm with decent rain could arrive around March 31 and April Fool's Day. No joke.
