Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry is on the regional cover of this week’s Sports Illustrated, for a second week in a row.
The cover features a photo of the league MVP pointing his finger upward with the headline, “MY TOWN / MY TEAM.”
Last week’s cover displayed Curry shooting a three-pointer with the headline “STEPH CURRY’S NEXT STAGE.”
According to the magazine, Curry is the first athlete to be featured on back-to-back covers since Jeremy Lin did so while playing for the New York Knicks in 2012.
The Curry cover will be available on newsstands Wednesday in the Western states of Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Utah, Nevada, California, Alaska and Hawaii.
