Steph Curry's Supposedly Game-Worn Mouthpiece Fetches Thousands at Online Auction

A trademark piece of rubber that Stephen Curry routinely chomps on during games is worth more than you might think.

$3,190 is reportedly the exact number that one fan dished out in an online auction Sunday morning to get their hands on the two-time defending NBA MVP's supposedly game-worn mouthpiece, which was found underneath Golden State's bench after an unknown road game in December, according to CSN Bay Area and SCP Auctions.

The clear, custom-fit piece of rubber, which features a Golden State Warriors logo on one side and "#30 Curry" art on both ends was originally sold at the online auction for $2,658, according to SCP Auctions. However, because of a 20 percent "Buyer's Premium," the total price of the mouthpiece rang up a tab over $3,000, according to CSN Bay Area.

Don't worry, the mouthpiece was presented to the buyer saliva-free, according to SCP Auctions.
