Steve Kerr Will Coach Warriors in Game 2 of NBA Finals

After missing the last 11 games, Steve Kerr will be back on the sideline to coach the Warriors in Game 2 Sunday evening.

Kerr made the announcement to the media about two hours before the game.

"The intention is to coach tonight and the rest of the series," Kerr said.

Kerr addressed how he's feeling.

"I'm feeling better, feeling more like I did at the end of the regular season. Last couple of weeks have been good, in terms of running practice, film sessions, coaches meetings, that kind of stuff. I wanted to string together a few good days. I did that. Feeling well enough to coach, so I'll be out there tonight," Kerr said.

Kerr last coached Game 2 of the first round against the Blazers. With Mike Brown serving as acting coach, the Warriors are 11-0.

"I'm excited. It's good to be back," Kerr said.
