Super Bowl 50 Will Cost San Francisco $4 Million

Super Bowl 50 will cost the city of San Francisco at least $4 million.

Most of the costs will go to transportation and police, SFGate reported.

While the game will be held at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, San Francisco will be hosting events all week long. Super Bowl City will be centered in Justin Herman Plaza, on the Embarcadero in San Francisco.

The mayor's office says the cost is minor compared to the anticipated revenue from the thousands of tourists who will attend.

Super Bowl 2016 is on Feb. 7.
