Oakland police said they are responding to a series of serious crimes in a 74-minute period late this morning that they believe were all committed by the same man.
Police said that between 10:43 a.m. and 11:57 a.m. the suspect is believed to have committed two shootings, three carjackings and at least two possible kidnappings.
One of the shootings was at 10:43 a.m. in the 1500 block of 39th Avenue. A woman was found with gunshot wounds there and was taken to a hospital.
The shooting victims appear to have been targeted and both currently are in stable condition, police said.
Police said they aren't releasing the suspect's name at this time because he is not in custody.
