Suspect in Sacramento County Triple Shooting Detained in Bay Area

A 25-year-old man suspected of shooting three of his roommates Friday morning in Sacramento County was arrested in Antioch, police said.

The suspect is identified by the Sacramento County Sheriff as Trey Devaughn Hallman.

Authorities were first notified of the incident when a man called 911 to report he had been shot by his roommate. The man told police the suspect was wearing body armor and had multiple guns.

When deputies arrived on scene, they found three men in the home suffering from gunshot wounds. The victims were rushed to a hospital and one has life-threatening injuries, officials said.

A SWAT team cleared the home in Sacramento and found a handgun, but not the shooter. Authorities then launched a search for the suspect.

The California Highway Patrol said the suspect was tracked to the East Bay. Hallman was later located and arrested in Antioch.
