Danner's child was in her car at the time of the crash and, although there were no visible injuries, the child was taken to a hospital as a precaution.

Two women were arrested on suspicion of drunken driving this week after they crashed into each other, Concord police Cpl. Kerry Cerletti said.

Police received a report of a crash near the state Highway 242  onramp on Commerce Avenue at around 9:35 p.m. Tuesday.

Investigating officers believe that Christina Danner, a  29-year-old Concord woman, ran a red light.  That caused Fabiola Gallo, a  22-year-old Concord resident, to smash into her car, police said.

Danner's child was in her car at the time of the crash and, although there were no visible injuries, the child was taken to a hospital as a precaution.

The child was later released to Children and Family Services.

Danner was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and child endangerment and booked into county jail in Martinez.

Gallo was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving as well and was cited and released.
