Some mornings you wish you had just stayed in bed.
That may very well be what an Alamo woman is thinking after crashing her car into not one, but two, houses on Entrada Verde near Danville Boulevard just before 10 a.m.
It all started when a woman backed her car out of her driveway as usual. Only this time, she backed up all the way across the street -- hitting her neighbor's front door and plowing into the living room.
That would have been enough to ruin your day, but there is more.
CHP officers tell NBC Bay Area that the driver, for unknown reasons, then put her car into drive and sailed back across the street into her own garage -- slamming a second parked car into her home.
Fortunately, no one was seriously hurt in either crash; the driver and her daughter, who was a passenger in the vehicle, were transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
No-one was inside either home at the time of the crash, but the woman whose living room was crushed says the damage is near the spot where she usually sits to drink her morning coffee.
According to officers, the driver and the neighbor are friends who have known each other for years -- a relationship clearly put to the test Thursday morning.
