A company that connects riders and drivers - Uber - is teaming up with San Francisco's Tamale Lady Friday night to try to help her build a brick and mortar store.
The Tamale Lady, whose real name is Virginia Ramos, will be out delivering free tamales in the Lower Haight and Mission District neighborhoods Friday night.
People can find out where she is through Uber's App.
The stunt is a fundraiser to help Ramos earn money to build a small restaurant.
Earlier this year she was told she could no longer sell her tamales outside a San Francisco bar becuase she was not a licensed vendor.
