Bay Area Expected To Set New Temperature Records Wednesday

    The Bay Area is experiencing a heatwave that will make you think the calendar says August. We are talking 80s and possibly up to 90 degrees Thursday. A strong ridge of high pressure is making for very warm temperatures this week. Highs are expected to reach the upper 70's and low 80's Wednesday afternoon. The ridge will reach maximum strength on Thursday and some cities could end up at or near 90° by days end.
