Just because no one in California matched all six numbers in last night's Mega Millions $380 million jackpot drawing doesn't mean it didn't make some members of the golden state a bit richer.
If you haven't checked yet, the winning numbers were 4, 8, 15, 25 and 47, with the Mega ball number was 42.
There were 10 Mega Millions tickets sold here that matched five of those numbers and for that the tickets holders can take away $209,300.
The split between Northern California and Southern California is about even:
There were two tickets that did match all six numbers. The winning tickets were sold just 125 miles apart. They were sold in tiny Pacific Northwest towns of Post Falls, Idaho and Ephrata, Washington. The owners, who did not immediately come forward, will split the $380 million jackpot.
The numbers came up big for fans of "Lost." Four of the six numbers matched those of the Lost character "Hurley." Hurley's numbers -- 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42 -- were a key component of the series. Mega Millions officials said 25,587 played the "Lost" numbers and for that they won $150.
