Here's your chance to change the way California does business. A Bay Area assemblyman is holding a "There Ought To Be A Law" contest.
Assemblymember Bob Wieckowski (D-Fremont) is asking people in his district (the 20th Assembly District) to submit their ideas and proposals for new state legislation. All of the proposals must be designed to improve neighborhoods and communities in California.
To submit an idea, visit Wieckowski's website. You can also mail or fax them. Entries must be received by February 25.
The 20th Assembly District is made up of Fremont, Union City, Newark, Milpitas, and parts of Castro Valley, Hayward and Pleasanton.
