“There's Always Next Year:” 49ers Fans to Team

Though the San Francisco 49ers won't be going to the Super Bowl this year, their faithful fans, decked out in red and gold, lined up on Monday at practice headquarters to give words of encouragement to their beloved team.

"Thank you so much for a great season," Randy Ioerger told NBC Bay Area, as Coach Jim Harbaugh and Quarterback Colin Kaepernick drove up to their Santa Clara training facility. The team held a meeting on Monday, before the players were to clean out their lockers.
