Third Time the Charm for Penn Divorce?

Robin Wright Penn has filed for divorce from husband Sean Penn in Marin County again, and this time it might actually take.

The two don't seem able to come to terms, with Ms. Penn citing "irreconcilable differences."

The couple had previously applied for a divorce twice, the latest in May of this year.

The two did agree to mutual custody of their son, Hopper Jack Penn, aged 16.

"This also puts an end to rumors that Sean Penn might, in fact, be gay. He's not. With this kind of chronic drama, he is officially a lesbian," snarked SFist.

Mr. Penn won an academy award this year for his portrayal of slain former San Francisco supervisor Harvey Milk.

But he cancelled his roles in two productions in order to devote more time to his family.

Maybe he devoted a bit too much?
