Thompson Gets Revenge, Beats Curry, Booker in 3-Point Contest

After finishing third last year, Klay Thompson managed to beat fellow Splash Brother Steph Curry in the 3-point contest on Saturday night.

Thompson beat Curry and Suns rookie guard Devin Booker in the championship round at the Air Canada Center in Toronto on Saturday.

Of the eight competitors to shoot in the first round, Thompson finished with a high score of 22. Curry finished second with 21 points. Booker, J.J. Redick and James Harden each scored 20 in the first round, with Booker advancing after winning a shoot-off.

In the championship round, Booker went first and posted a score of 15. Curry went next and hung a score of 23 up for Thompson to try to beat.

And beat it he did. Thompson tallied a score of 27 to win the contest, the first of his career.
