In San Francisco Sunday, 20,000 people took to the streets for the Giant Race, a fundraiser for Project Open Hand.
Serious runners, and those just looking for a workout, came out for the half marathon, 10-kilometer, 5-kilometer, and Kids Race.
The Giant Race started and ended where the San Francisco Giants play--AT&T Park.
Runners we spoke with said they loved it, and so did event organizers.
"It was awesome, it was good weather," runner Brad Edwards said. "I ran the 10K. It was my second race, so I am happy about it."
Hannah Schmunk, who works with Project Open Hand, said the race is for a great cause.
"Project Open Hand will be able to provide 125,000 meals as a result of this race," Schmunk said. "Those are meals for the sick and the elderly."

Project Open Hand raised about $250,000 in this sold out event.
