Tim Lincecum Freaks Out Gavin Newsom's Daughter

To Montana Newsom, he'll always be The Freak.

Gavin Newsom loves all the Giants. But the lieutenant governor's daughter prefers Buster Posey -- hold the Tim Lincecum.

Newsom was San Francisco mayor in 2010, when his beloved Giants first celebrated a World Series victory at City Hall. Newsom, now the lieutenant governor and a Marin resident, brought his 3-year-old daughter, Montana, to celebrate the second World Series win of her brief lifetime.

Montana's favorite player, Newsom reported later, is Buster Posey. And judging by her reaction to seeing Tim Linecum -- she appears a little freaked out -- this is bound to continue.

Lincecum, it has been noted, doesn't have the best relationship with catcher Posey, who moves to first base when the two-time Cy Young Award winner pitches. So maybe Montana's just backing up her man.
