A Caltrans employee on Tuesday was struck by a vehicle in a parking lot near the Bay Bridge toll plaza, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The male employee was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to the CHP.
A female Caltrans worker was driving in the parking lot around 5:15 a.m. when she struck her male co-worker, according to CHP.
A CHP spokesperson indicated that the female employee did not see her co-worker crossing the parking lot.
