Too Revealing, Lululemon Pulls Yoga Pants From Shelves

Iconic black yoga pants pulled from market.

No more Lululemon black yoga pants.

For now.

The Vancouver-based maker of the iconic casual uniform in yoga-friendly markets -- such as the entire state of California -- has pulled its black offerings from store shelves after the pants were deemed "too revealing."

The "Luon" pants, which make up 17 percent of the company's total sales, have a "quality control problem," according to the Associated Press. One of the suppliers made the pants with a material that are "too sheer," and they were sold between March 1 and March 16.

Lululemon's stock dipped 5 percent in trading Tuesday following the announcement.

Julie Brown of San Francisco is not going to hold the issue against the company.

"Generally it's a great well-made product," she said Tuesday while out jogging along Crissy Field. "We love it, shop in the store all the time."

The same factories in Asia have made the pants since 2004, but there's apparently now a problem with oversight. What it is and how it will be addressed was not disclosed.

Customers who bought the recalled revealing pants can get a refund.
