Twitter CTO has sent his last tweet.

Greg Pass stepped down from his position as the company's chief technology officer, according to a tweet sent by Twitter co-founder Biz Stone Friday.

"Twitter acquired Summize three years ago, cofounder @gregpass is moving on—we're lucky to have had him so long!" Stone tweeted.

Pass joined the San Francisco-based micro-blogging site as a vice president of engineering after Twitter bought a company he co-founded that built up Twitter's search functionality.
