Two Men Arrested on Suspicion of Burglarizing Two Millbrae Homes This Month

The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office arrested two men Wednesday on suspicion of burglarizing a pair of Millbrae homes this month.

Sheriff’s deputies from Santa Clara County responded to a residential alarm on Mullins Court at 12 p.m. Monday when they noticed a silver Mercedez Benz occupied by two men leaving the scene, according to authorites.

A deputy recognized the vehicle as having been involved in a previous home burglary on Sept. 12 on the 1400 block of Murchison Drive, and tried to stop the car.

In response, its driver tried to flee the scene, but instead crashed into a pole. The two suspects ditched the car and ran, said authorities, who searched for, but were unable to locate the duo.

During an investigation, detectives identified the suspects as Eyajemmie Fredson-Cole, 21, of Daly City, and Simon Behre, also 21, of San Francisco. Sheriff’s deputies obtained arrest warrants for the pair as well as a search warrant for Fredson-Cole’s house.

Fredson-Cole was arrested Wednesday at his Peninsula residence, where detectives uncovered property that had been pilfered on Sept. 12. Behre was taken into custody in San Francisco, authorities said.

Both suspects have been booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility on residential burglary charges. Fredson-Cole's bail is set at $250,000 and Behre's at $175,000.
