Two Silicon Valley Residents to Take Part in Global Orchestra

Two Silicon Valley residents were selected to join 101 musicians performing in Sydney Australia, in March, as part of the YouTube Symphony Orchestra, according to the Mercury News.

Stephani Lai of Palo Alto, and Leyan Lo, a concertmaster at Stanford, were chosen out of 300 finalists who posted audition videos online.

The orchestra, under the direction of San Francisco Symphony's Michael Tilson Thomas, will practice for a week before the final performance, March 20th.
