San Jose native and Archbishop Mitty student Polina Edmunds is ready to compete.

The 15-year old skating phenom landed in Sochi today and tweeted a photo saying, "Hello from Sochi".

She's been training in Austria leading up to the competition.

Polina also sent a photo of the Olympic figure skating team in Sochi.

On Saturday, Polina said she is ready to make her Olympic debut.

"Now I'm here, and I'm ready to go, and I'm just super happy to be a participant in the Games," Edmunds said. "And I can't wait to show everyone in the crowd and the judges what I can do."

Her first event, the short program, is Wednesday with the free skate, or long program, on Thursday.
