The U.S. women's Olympic soccer team held possession of the ball for the majority of the game that led to their 1-0 win over the North Korean womens team Tuesday morning at the Old Trafford stadium in Manchester, Eng.

This was the final game in the first round group stage, which means the U.S. team, which is 3-0, will be heading to the quarterfinals on Aug. 3.

Forward Abby Wambach scored the only goal of the game about 25 minutes into the first half of the match with an assist from Cal's own Alex Morgan.

The team and fans hit the web to express their happiness with the win.

Morgan tweeted, "3 Wins to finish off at top of the group, that's what I am talkin about!"
