Santa Clara County Sheriff's said that a VTA train partially derailed from the tracks Monday morning, blocking an intersection.

No injuries were reported, however, when the train went off the tracks about 7:10 a.m. at Baypoint Parkway and Tasman Avenue near N. First Street in San Jose.

The westbound land of Tasman east of 1st Street was blocked and investigators looked into what happened. The VTA set up a bus bridge while officials worked to fix the situation.
