The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority is encouraging gymnast enthusiasts to take VTA bus and light rail to attend the 2012 Gymnastic Olympic Trials that begin today and end on Sunday at the HP Pavilion in San Jose.
Fans have several options:
Spokeswoman Branci Childress added the perks to riding public transit are that it's " convenient, inexpensive, and green alternative to the high cost of driving and to avoid parking hassles."
For specific routes and times, please contact VTA Customer Service at (408) 321-2300 or for TTY (408) 321-2330.
For additional convenience and ease, VTA also encourages Olympic fans to use a Clipper card while using VTA light rail and bus service. For more information, please visit www.vta.org or www.clippercard.com.
