Vallejo Police Looking for Attempted Murder Suspect

Vallejo police are looking for a man wanted in connection with an attempted murder last month.

Suspect Akil Nantambu, 34, of Vallejo, should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.

He is described as a black man, standing 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 185 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes, police said.

Nantambu is wanted for an attempted murder that occurred on May 3 in the 100 block of Yorkshire Court near Rollingwood Drive in Vallejo, according to police.

Nantambu is on felony probation out of Solano County, is wanted for being a felon in possession of a firearm as well as a probation violation, police said.
