Van Pulled from Berkeley Marina

Crews had to use a $1 million rotator tow truck to pull a van out of the Berkeley Marina.

The 75-year-old driver slammed right over the rocks and into the water after trying to back out of a parking space overnight.

He says his gas pedal got stuck.

The driver did make it out safely before police arrived.

Police say the man was very lucky the car did not sink or turn over.

The special tow truck was called out to make sure no gas spilled into the Bay.
