Video Games vs Leland Yee

The video game industry is about to battle it out against California State Senator Leland Yee.

In 2005, Yee championed a bill that was signed into state law, banning violent video game sales to kids under 18.

The LA Times describes Rose in a way I can't top,

"In one corner, we have George "The Crusher" Rose, a Harvard-educated lawyer who for years has been the Darth Vader to Activision CEO Bobby Kotick's Emperor Palpatine. Rose's very name strikes terror and dark admiration among the phalanx of Hollywood entertainment lawyers."

The two will be debating the moral ethics of violent video games tonight at 6 p.m. at the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco. If you can't make it, the debate is expected to be streamed online here.
