Video: Garbage Truck Catches Fire in San Jose

No one was injured when a garbage truck caught fire near Saratoga Avenue and Lawrence Expressway in San Jose on Tuesday morning.

San Jose Fire spokesperson Cleo Doss said the fire started in the cab of the truck then spread into the rest of the vehicle.

The fire was not suspicious, Doss said.

The truck has been turned over to its owner and an insurance claims adjuster.
