Police released security video Wednesday of a man wanted for burglarizing a North San Jose home of more than $10,000 in tools earlier this year.

Around 4 a.m. on June 7, the suspect went inside the backyard of a home in the 1300 block of Danby Avenue near Piedmont Hills High School, police said.

The burglar took more than $10,000 worth of contractor tools and a mountain bike, according to police.

The suspect is described as a man in his mid 30s standing about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing around 180 pounds. He was seen in a zip-up hooded sweatshirt and baseball cap, according to police.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call police Detective Sgt. Mike Montonye at 408-277-4401. Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Silicon Valley Crime Stoppers at 408-947-7867.
