    Player of the game: Charles Jenkins finished with 24 points and nine assists to help the Warriors snap an eight-game losing streak.

    “He’s a tough NYC kid, hard-nosed who has no quit,” Warriors coach Mark Jackson said. “Totally competes and gets after it. He was banged up bruised up and battered up and he found a way to gut out a big-time performance.”

    Key play: With the Timberwolves down two points and a little over a minute left, the Warriors forced J.J. Barea into a turnover, and it turned into a Dominic McGuire transition bucket that turned into a 3-point play. The Warriors were down 21 points at one point.
