Just days after parts of the Bay Area sweltered under temperatures as high as 107 degrees, the forecast has flip--flopped on us with cold and foggy weather ahead.

The timing couldn't be worse.  As many as 2 million people are expected to make the trek to San Francisco this weekend. Most of them are being drawn by  Fleet Week, which includes an air show by the famed Blue Angels both Saturday and Sunday afternoon. The air show alone could draw one million spectators.

NBC Bay Area meteorologist Christina Loren says Sunday is the better of the two days, but both days will have morning fog and lots and clouds.

She says Giants and 49er fans should pack stadium-approved weather gear. Saturday night's Giants game could see some showers and will be chilly. Sunday's 49er game will also be cloudy and cool with a slight chance of a shower.

Air shows and sporting events aren't the only thing happening this weekend. The Hardly Strictly Bluegrass music festival begins Friday at Golden Gate Park Friday. The crowd estimates for the three day festival is between 500,000 and 800,000.

With all of the above going on traffic and parking is going to be an issue. Public transportation will also be jam-packed.  Click here for more public transit options.
