Weekend Shootings in East Bay Leave 4 Dead

A pair of East Bay shootings on Saturday killed four people, Oakland police said. 

Around 9 p.m., officers responded to the 1400 block of Sunshine Court, according to a police dispatcher.

There, officers found two male victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim was taken to a hospital, where he later died, the dispatcher said. No suspect information was immediately available.

The shooting was the second deadly shooting that occurred in the city Saturday.

Earlier in the afternoon, around 2:45 p.m., officers responded to the 3300 block of MacArthur Boulevard. There, officers found a man and a woman who had been fatally shot, according to police.

No arrests have been made in that shooting.
