Flights are delayed at San Francisco International Airport.

The wet and windy weather isn't only making traffic conditions on the road difficult.

San Francisco International Airport was reporting that incoming flights were being delayed because of the weather.

Arriving flights where anywhere from a few minutes to three hours late Wednesday morning because of the wet and windy weather.

If the adverse weather continues, SFO officials said departing flights would eventually be impacted.

Travelers are encouraged to check the status of their flights before leaving for the airport.
