A number of local venues are paying tributes to the music legend, who died Thursday at the age of 57.

Purple Rain Midnight Screenings: Friday, April 22 and Saturday, April 23, midnight, $12. Roxie Cinema, San Francisco. A rush line will be available the night of the screenings.

Purple Rain screening: Monday, April 25, 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., $11. Castro Theatre, San Francisco.

Purple Rain at the New Parkway: April 25 – April 28, Apr 25 at 9:30 PM to Apr 28 at 6:30 p.m., The New Parkway, 474 24th St, Oakland. 

The Gay Community Remembers Prince, Friday, April 29, 10 p.m.-2 a.m., Free entry with registration on Eventbrite, $10 at the door without registration.
